Jamespot and SATELLIZ join forces to offer Jitsi videoconferencing service.

Jamespot and its partner SATELLIZ are joining forces to offer the open-source Jitsi videoconferencing service free of charge to all users of the Jamespot solution.

An integration made possible by the provision of Cloud resources of 3DS Outscale as part of the solidarity operation #ActForLife of the Cloud subsidiary of Dassault Systems.

The Covid-19 pandemic which is currently hitting the world is pushing companies to reinvent themselves around teleworking in order to be able to continue their activity. Chat systems, videoconferencing solutions and other collaborative work software, often perceived as secondary, have quickly become essential in the daily lives of millions of teleworking employees. Faced with growing demand from its users, the Jamespot team, with technical support from its partner SATELLIZ, tackled videoconferencing to integrate the open-source Jitsi solution natively on its platforms. It is now done! Thanks to close collaboration between Jamespot, Satelliz and 3DS Outscale teams and as part of the #ActForLife solidarity operation led by the Dassault Systems subsidiary, Jamespot is launching “Jitsi for Jamespot”, its brand new videoconferencing application.

"Due to their advanced skills in Cloud technologies, we asked our partner SATELLIZ to support us in the technical integration of the Jitsi solution on the sovereign Cloud of 3DS OUTSCALE. The responsiveness of SATELLIZ, 3DS OUTSCALE and Jamespot teams was maximum: in a few days, the Jitsi for Jamespot application was launched and is now available to Jamespot users via the #ActForLife operation". Alain GARNIER - President of Jamespot

With Jitsi and Izeeconf, Jamespot now offers 2 videoconferencing systems integrated natively on your platforms (one open-source, the other as a proprietary solution).

Moreover, Jamespot took advantage of this videoconferencing opportunity to open up to other solutions on the market thanks to its multi-video connectors: Teams, Zoom, Whereby, Hangout, Skype, etc. strengthening the list of its connectors.

The Jitsi for Jamespot application is available today for all Jamespot platforms.
