On 19 March 2012, Satelliz, the highly innovative business specialising in cloud computing infrastructure monitoring, received the Scientipôle Initiative 2012 Award (one of the main innovation award in France).
Scientipôle Initiative, which was created in June 2001, is a member of the France Initiative network, a local promotional platform focusing on innovation. Its distinctive offering provides the creators of innovative business startups with assistance and funding in the Ile-de-France region.
Scientipôle Initiative’s combination of entrepreneurial and technological assets is based on a community of recognised management, financial and scientific experts and a network of specialist partner bodies providing support for innovative businesses.
For more than 10 years, Scientipôle Initiative has contributed to the success of the Ile-de-France region’s innovative entrepreneurs by providing them with the human and financial resources their businesses need in order to succeed and then to grow.
In an initial audit, the technological, commercial, financial and management aspects of Satelliz’s business plan were examined by an expert.
On 15 March last year, the founders of Satelliz then justified their project before a commission of around twenty experts, which approved the granting of funds in the form of honorary loans to the company’s founders.
Satelliz’s founders were delighted by this decision, which, in addition to the financial support provided by Scientipôle Initiative, enables them to join a network of innovative experts and businesses encouraging exchanges of information and feedback.
It also validates the fundamental elements of Satelliz’s business model.
